If you spend a lot of time with me on Instagram then you’re probably familiar with a phrase I use all the time, and am VERY fired up about.
Omni Channel Marketing.
If you’re unfamiliar, Omni Channel Marketing is a term that describes the integration of different areas of an organization to create a consistent brand message.
Something we incorporate into our brand method here at HN and it’s one that even corporate brands integrate into their strategy.
Now what does omni channel NOT include?
Pumping out endless amounts of content until you get overwhelmed.
Omni channel allows you to distribute and expand your message across multiple platforms and ultimately allow you to connect with your target audience in different places.
AKA allowing you to expand your marketing mix from just Instagram to multiple platforms.
Creating this method in your marketing strategy for your business is key to creating an unparalleled brand experience. It takes a consumer focused approach to build a deeper connection with your audience and can play a major role in increased client retention, expanding your revenue and elevating your authority.
Here are a few ways you can create an omni channel marketing strategy for your business.
What is your customer journey from start to finish? Assess where most of your customers come from and how you can guide them from point A to point B, especially if you’re guiding them through different channels. You can do this through setting up clear objectives, listing out all of your touchpoints and building out your lead generation funnel – think from brand awareness through conversion.
Assessing your ideal customer and brand archetype will help you to set up those objectives and touch points to ensure your customer journey is intentional and impactful and will ultimately lead to conversion.
Once you’ve analyzed your customer journey and understand who you’re targeting, how you’re doing it and the message you will incorporate – it’s time to analyze the data.
When we work with our clients we provide and set up tracking systems to analyze their marketing performance. Time is our greatest asset as an entrepreneur and we want to ensure we’re building out the systems to save us time.
Once you’ve set up your tracking system for your marketing efforts we want to start analyzing what content is performing well for your audience. To create a strategic and simplified omni channel process includes streamlining what already works.
This is my personal favorite step. Creating the right marketing content for your brand is probably the most important part of the process of creating your omni channel strategy. Social media is my personal preference as many of you may already know. It’s a creative space, innovative and the threshold to connecting and building relationships with your ICA.
If you decide to leverage social media, or even macro platforms like YouTube or your website make sure that you are speaking the right language for each individual platform. Your ICA may live on multiple channels but communication methods may need to be tweaked. For example, you can be more casual on Instagram but if you are trying to connect on LinkedIn that ideal client might be more receptive to different types of content and a different voice for that matter.
So, when it comes to implementing new strategies in your business this year consider creating an omni channel market strategy. Remember, you can expand your creative business and launch or elevate your education platform through creating a simplified and strategic marketing strategy.
